7 dust for mites?

Is 7 Dust ok for mites on poultry? What do you recommend?

Yes, Sevin dust is ok..I used it when I did wild bird rehab and had not any fatalities from it, and it got rid of the mites.

For getting rid of bugs already on the birds, Sevin dust works great.
But for prevention in the coop, I prefer using Diatomaceous Earth (food grade, NOT the kind you put in swimming pools). You can find it at Lowes or wherever, with the Sevin dust. It's all natural and works great, but once it gets wet, it becomes uneffective.
