7 Month Muscovy - Hen or Drake?

Female. Although most of my females are worse to my chickens than the drakes are. Just something to keep in mind, you might need to eventually separate them, depending on the size are you've got them in.


I do have four silkies and ten chicks and she prefers the smaller chickens to the bigger. She just happens to despise my roosters :p

She ate out of my hand for the first time today, and made a purring sound :)

It's a sweet noise isn't it.
 
My Muscovys don't quack at all, they make the purring type sound though. Also had to catch to pick up. They used to be in charge of the ducks but then my one of my Campbell's decided he was a drake and now he chases the Muscovys around in a dominate way. Has she laid an egg yet?
 
Definatly a hen, not as much bulk to the body, small ankles and shorter head and neck. She is a she and theres no doubt about that.
