7 month old Columbian Wyandotte-rooster or hen?

Should be interesting to see how it turns out. I'm betting on a masculine looking hen, but you never know. I have read, and maybe @Wyorp Rock can let me know if this is correct or not, that if a hen have damage to her one functioning ovary the other can kick in but it kicks in with testosterone. So a hen ends up more rooster like.

Some roosters can mature more slowly but they generally have obvious saddle feathers by 7-8 months. It's possible my old lady eyes can't see them on your chicken, especially since white doesn't always photograph well. Can you see those long saddle feathers on your bird?

My big Brahma male didn't crow till about 7 months old (6 1/2to 7 months). After that he crowed like 7 times a day lol

This rooster isn't a Wyandotte but it is Columbian in color. It's around 5 months here, and you can see the developing saddle feathers.

Wow, that’s very interesting!

He has what looks like saddle feathers but they are not as noticeable as yours has. I will try to get a better picture next time I go out there.

Okay here is a pretty good full body shot where you can see what looks like saddle feathers, but they are not very prominent if that’s what they are.

I cracked open some eggs earlier and posted some pics a page or two back on this thread. Do any look fertilized to you?
