It has been a rollercoaster! We’ll see what happens. He hasn’t crowed since earlier this morning. It really seemed as though our dominant hen attacked him after he crowed. Maybe he’s afraid to do it again?This thread was a rollercoaster! I was team rooster the majority of the time reading through but it is very oddly feminine for a rooster at this age. Crazy!
Wow, this is interesting! Maybe he’s just a very late bloomer all-around!I've had roosters who didn't grow decent saddle feathers until they were closer to two, and I have a sweetie at the moment who didn't get his until he was almost three years old
