7 week old barred rock, roo or pullet?

She has silkies and Plymouth rocks only, which really confuses me haha
Could he be a hybrid?
Would it be possible for a Plymouth rock and a Malines to mate and make him?
Either way, glad to know that he's a cockerel. He's awfully gentle

Now that’s interesting. Has she had any in the past that may have had feathered legs? Also the comb looks more rose than straight. Malines are a gentle bird. However any rooster when they get older tend to get protective. I seldom let any rooster out of my sight.

silkies have feathered feet....... plymouth barred rock/ silkie rooster is my guess.
