My 15 week old welsummer chicks pullets or Roo

Thank you for coming back to update the thread! These threads are very helpful for people in similar situations, with similar chickens, looking for input and wondering about how things turned out. So it's good to have closure. I just found the thread now, and looking at the initial pictures my hunch was that the chick with patchy red feathers was male. Turns out that was the case indeed. Chickens with the "wild type" feather pattern, also known as "partridge", as well as the single/double laced varieties, the sexes start to diverge in looks pretty early on, with the females having a uniform laced pattern throughout their bodies, and the males developing a splotchy, broken up pattern with more solid-looking color patches on the wings.
