They should be ok i think. But maybe bring them in7 week old chickens out in the coop all day. I was thinking of leaving them overnight but it will drop to upper 30s tonight. Should I bring them back indoors?
Yeah, mine where out in 40 degrees temps at 8 weeks. He is super cute. They should be fine as long as they have a draft free coop and you've weaned them from heat.
That little cockerel is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen.

He is the cuddliest of the bunch to.Yeah, mine where out in 40 degrees temps at 8 weeks. He is super cute.
I checked the temp in the coop and it was 57 inside while it is 46 outside. I sealed all the cracks with calking and painted the inside and outside although a 1\4 inch gap in the bottom of the door.
I brood mine outside at 2 weeks of age. They adjust to the cold weather betterIf we are putting this to a vote, I vote permanently in the coop. It allows easier integration at a younger age, lets them be chickens. It will be fine.

I agree. I start mine in the coop. We have a brooder for them but these current babies I have were completely off of heat by 3 weeks old. We were getting down to the 30s at night but they wanted nothing to do with the heat. They're now fully Integrated at 4 weeks old and running around with the big girls. If we are putting this to a vote, I vote permanently in the coop.
