7 week old chickens out in the coop all day. I was thinking of leaving them overnight but it will drop to upper 30s tonight. Should I bring them back indoors?

They should be fine as long as they have a draft free coop and you've weaned them from heat.

That little cockerel is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Yeah, mine where out in 40 degrees temps at 8 weeks. He is super cute.
He is the cuddliest of the bunch to. 🐓❤️ I checked the temp in the coop and it was 57 inside while it is 46 outside. I sealed all the cracks with calking and painted the inside and outside although a 1\4 inch gap in the bottom of the door. But they are all snuggled together.

38 degree outside now. I want to bring them in but at the same time maybe I should let them adjust and leave them. I should probably just go to sleep and stop worrying 🥺

Fully-feathered chickens are not cold at those temperatures. Mine were out in 40F nights at 5 weeks. But I brood outdoors so they feather up faster.

This is not good.

While you need to protect against drafts -- breezes strong enough to ruffle their feathers -- in their sleeping area, if you have adequate ventilation the temperature and humidity inside will be the same as outside.

Chickens have very delicate respiratory systems and giving them an abundance of fresh air is the #1 key to ensuring their good health. :)

This is what the airflow in your coop should look like:

If we are putting this to a vote, I vote permanently in the coop. It allows easier integration at a younger age, lets them be chickens. It will be fine.

I agree. I start mine in the coop. We have a brooder for them but these current babies I have were completely off of heat by 3 weeks old. We were getting down to the 30s at night but they wanted nothing to do with the heat. They're now fully Integrated at 4 weeks old and running around with the big girls.
