Help! This morning all 6 were fine. This afternoon, we found one dead. The rest all look lethargic and their feathers all fluffed up. I have no idea why the one died. They haven't displayed any other symptoms. They are eating and drinking like normal. It hasn't been too hot or cold either (mid 60's). I've read many different things and am hoping they are just a little stressed from the one dying but could it be coccidiosis?

I gave them some fresh water with some raw apple cider vinegar but am ready to go to the feed store for some Corid or Sulmet.

Go get Corid and give them all a small dose. Then put it in their water. You can give them a straight dose 2-3 times a day until you see an improvement.

Thanks, Madamwlf. Their feathers were still fluffed but they seemed a little better when I got home at 11pm. I administered the Corid and will put it in their water. We'll see how they are in the morning.

P.S. When I went to the local feed store, they had tetracycline. They said that's what they use for the chicks they get. Anyone ever use that?
