7 week old chicks - cold spell

I've had my chicks outside full time for 10 days but the temps have been 55+ for that time. tonight it's supposed to 45 at night. do i need to take them inside? there's 9 of them and they were hatched on 4/7. thanks!

What is the temperature in the coop?

Mine were hatched 4/8 and 4/9 and I put them in the coop last Thurs. We had nights as low as 40 and all was fine. As long as no drafts blowing on them then they are good.

Unless some of the chicks are sickly or not feathering in there's no reason to bring them in, unless your coop is drafty. Mid 40s is fine for my 4 week olds without heat.
