Hmm I'm not sure what this bird is, really lovely wild colors though ! I have an easter egger with a hairdo like that, a little mohawk, could it be an easter egger? I know they come in many many varieties.

I change my mind, pyncheon bantams can look like that and have a little mohawk too, u can't see the mohawk too good in this pic
Googleing them , they seem to come in a variety of colors too.

Roo. He holds his wing feathers down an out not in and up. And look at that beautiful tail feather starting to curl.

The Appenzeller Spitzhauben is the national breed of Switzerland, noted for its very unusual forward-pointing crest and v-shaped comb. These birds are well-adapted to life in the mountains, are excellent climbers and love to roost in trees. They really don't do well in confinement, so don't keep them unless they can be allowed to roam freely throughout the day.

The comb is indicating cockerel but that isn't certain yet. It could be a Pyncheon if it is a bantam, but it has the wrong leg color. If it's not a bantam it could be an Icelandic, too. Breed really depends on where you got the bird, so that information could help. If you got it from a backyard breeder, then I would guess it is a cross.
