7 Week Old Polish Chick

So we recently got 2 polish chicks and while I’m sure one is a girl, I’m not positive with this one. What do you guys think?

He is a little cutie. He’s super protective. I just discovered my suspicions of him being a roo were probably right, as we got a roo and he wouldn’t let him in the coop. It was a funny sight because he was like twice the size of this one and terrified of him.

It looks male but since the wattles are still small I’m guessing female and if they are red they are a male

Yes, big red wattles can be a sign of a male, but it's easier to tell from the crest shape. His is spiky, whereas females typically have rounded crests
