Hi, I have 3 fully grown turkeys which I keep separate from my 5 month old poults. Also I have 7 week old poults which I keep in a small cage but they are getting too big for the cage and I'm limited where to put them all. Would it be safe to put the 7 week old poults with the 5 month old poults?

Be very careful and make sure you are ready to make a quick move to separate them if necessary.

The five month old poults are at an age that you cannot really predict what they will do. If it was me, I would probably put the 5 month old ones in with the adults.

The 7 week old poults would probably be safer with the adults than with the 5 month old ones. The 5 month old ones are somewhat like teenagers.

Of course it matters whether we are talking about heritage turkeys or broad breasted turkeys. The broad breasted turkeys tend to be more mellow in their temperament and behavior than are the heritage turkeys.

They are Heritage turkeys, I put a fully grown hen with the 5 month old poults and at first the hen was chasing the poults but I of the tom poults squared up to her and chased her. The other adults, 2 toms they are aggressive and another hen is sat laying eggs.

I will wait another week are so, and thanks for the advise.
