My eggs ship Monday!! Super excited, but I hope they get here safe and sound

The distance from place to place is not as important as the distance from the Airport to your local Post Office. The eggs will go airborne express from air port to air port. It is the truck distance from the air port to the Post Office that is hard on the eggs.

I have had great hatches from eggs shipped from the East Coast to California and very damaged eggs from Washington State to California.

@ronott1 thanks. So far all my eggs have arrived in good condition with excellent hatch rates. So, hopefully this will be the same.

I have seen pictures of them. It should work fine but make sure that the wafer thermostat is good.

Check into information about maintenance for them.

it just has a small thermometer in it. I was going to calibrate it, and check into the humidity checker(name?) that someone recommend from Walmart.

OK I got the Bator today I am going to use. This will be my first. Is anyone familiar with the Brower 11400-3? It is a round metal one that looks old. It will hold 18.

Yeah I am hoping that I get like, 3 or four chicks at least... The eggs I am getting are 8+ and then my friend said that She will give me a few serama eggs for free, and they will not be shipped so that will help a lot. I want to keep 3 or four chicks. But there is a show that I am going to in febuary and I will Keep the best chickens from this hatch and sell the rest

Go here for replacement parts. It might be a good idea to get a spare wafer. When they go bad, the whole thing is messed up.
