7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

My post-lady knows me, too.  She called last time I got shipped eggs and said, "I'll bring them right over if you're home."  Nice lady.  I wasn't home, but my Dad was visiting and was at the house at the time.  He said she walked up to the door holding the package like it was a bomb.:gig

What a wonderful woman. Bless her heart.

I candle my eggs tonight some are doing better then others. One eggs looks a little funny to me I can't really see in it its a Easter egger egg When I was holding the egg to candle it I could feel it moving around in the egg. Is this too soon or I am crazy

Do not give up hope!

Those dark green eggs can look murky and be fine because you cannot see into them very well.

Hard to tell on those EE's! They get dark fast when a chick is growing in there. I had questioned one of my OE's, a dark green egg.. in my last hatch, thought is might be gone, but, I questioned it..kept it in, and it was the second chick to hatch.
