7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

Today was day 10 so I candled....again. I tossed my first clear. It was from my broody who quit on me. All the others that I could see into are dancing around in their shells all the dark eggs were impossible to see into so they all get to stay in since they're not weepy or smelly. I'm going to get my hatcher out and set up on Sunday and move some eggs over to it early to make room for the turkey eggs. Time to play incubator shuffle

Wow and I thought we had a weak transformer. Hope it comes on soon. We used to be on a well. No water is no fun. No hot water is worse.

I just set 22 more eggs in my second 'bator They're due to hatch the 11th.

I set 47 Calls today...

In other news,
I got my first meatbirds yesterday, CornishX.

They wanted my bantam Ameracauna mix so I traded 5 for 5.
I got the Chicks and Broody mama for free from the farm.....
Then I found out they like raw milk so I traded for another 5 for A Gal. and a half.
Very excited.
The misses says they are only cute when chickidees....
I say more reason to keep hatching......

I wish there were someone near me that had raw milk I could trade for! I've always had a cow to milk. I still have cows but lupus and arthritis make it too hard for me to milk them now. I miss the milk soooo bad!!

oh my gosh that is awesome! I have a horse that I have to be carful not to put stuff too near his stall door... He will throw his halter way far!

Ok so I have an Idea... there are so many serama people in CA what about making a ca serama thread?
those are beautiful... I just have to ask... is that a hoof mark in the bottom one?

Breezie also loves playing with a ball. Yes, that's her hoof print. She signs most of her paintings.
