Oh man, I can almost smell that. But, I am smelling cookies. Not sure how many I made!

We made a special dessert for the holiday! Tiramisu!

Oh well, my mixed little flock, will be...more mixed!  

Except..that my RIR rooster is pure..he's gorgeous!  And I do have a pure RIR girl in there ready to lay anytime now.   I know what she will have.

I've had an exciting day with Duckling. She's going to be the death of me! Not to mention herself!! She was about eight stairs up before I could blink. I got up a step or two before she fell backwards. I caught her in the crook of my arm as she was flying. The gate will always be up from now on!
No bread today, but I did kinda sorta maybe let my sourdough expand all over the counter. I lost track of things after feeding it, and didn't get a second jar started.

Peace has left the building. Grandkids are here. 2 & 4.
