I'm up to 9 Silkies/Sizzles now! 6 eggs left and a few have pips. Of course, I'm not sure which eggs are the pipped eggs now, because the fuzzies have been rolling them around the 'bator :/

The first Whole Foods chick has hatched--It is Yellow!

First out of shipped Altsteirer eggs. One next to it has been working longer on getting out. It also had the worst saddled air sac Their due date was today at 12:00 so doing fine on time. Moisture seems to be good on these guys unlike the BCM that basically came out fluffy. Had a little moisture but not much.

That is a hatching tray I bought several years ago. They work great! After the hatch I put them into the dishwasher.

Nice tray. Good for cleaning. I was wondering if the egg cartons absorbed to much moisture from the eggs. I was guessing not as moisture in the incubator would eventually even out. The one I'm using is more plastic like than cardboard like.
