7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

Ok got a picture of my Altsteirer/Bresse/not sure chicks. They were supposed to be all Altsteirer so the chipmunk looking ones are them.
700

The three quitters were Bresse and one very dark one. Seems I got a variety pack.

Now up to 7 hatchlings: 1 mille fleur, 2 splash(1blue1black) marans, 1 black copper maran, 2 backyard mixes.

There are four pips and a fifth that is peeping but no pip, yet.
My hatch is winding down too.

She's out, but has an air bubble under her skin? this looks odd. Advice?
Like was posted, it is from a ruptured air sack.

Someone did some research on this back in 2013 and it was thought that the problem in a just hatched chick is from low humidity during incubation.

Was your humidity below 25% during the first 18 days?

In older chicks it is from trauma usually. The person in 2013 did not treat for it--just left the chick in the incubator for 12 hours to gain strength and the problem resolved by itself.

Thanks. I think there was one time it dropped around day 6. The rest of the time it was about 35% She was tuck in her shell for a while though. I'll hope it resolves on it's own.
