7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

This hatch is drawing out. Five more chicks this morning and one pip. Three eggs haven't done anything. Good news is 26 chicks from 30 lockdown eggs.

That's a lot of babies! Soon to be chickens. Hope you have a big Back Yard!

Mine completely shuts down and says there was some sort of error and restarts. Though it was just my pad. However nothing else is doing it.

I had 2 Silkies hatch sometime yesterday, late afternoon/early evening. I'm not sure exactly because they are under a broody. There are 3 more eggs & I'm not sure of their status. She's doing a great job keeping everyone under her! It's so funny watching her push them back under & then, give them a "talking to." Is it normal for a hatch to take this long? This is my first hatch.
