I have had my SFH for over 4 years now and love the variety. I am trying to collect ALL the colors!

I also had Icelandics for a while, but only hens. I couldn't hatch a cockerel.

They were too flighty for me and would not stay in their fenced area. I finally sent them to live on a wonderful farm with many other Icelandics where they could roam free. They are also smaller than the SFH and at the time I said that SFH was as small as I was going to breed. Then I got Isbars

and Svarthöna!

@Pensmaster - SFH can be difficult to hatch. They seem to prefer dry incubation. But they are worth the trouble.

Thanks I guess I as luck to get the rooster. I also hatched Legbars from same friend and got a trio. Going with them for now. Trying to get smaller more efficient breeds
