I am so confused

Dont panic. Your eggs probably came from a Marans. I had a Marans hen that laid golf ball shaped eggs. They hatched fine. There are several breeds that lay those dark chocolate colored eggs. All of which are awesome. No worries

well I had another attack with Wiley coyote, took my brown duck! She was laying green eggs, hate to say it but if he/she wants to keep comming around I have no choice but to dispose of it humanely,
