@prizepeteI just separate mine half of the day also. I just bought him and he was a bottle baby. Definitely not something I want because like I said they lack boundaries and are too demanding. My others get enough handling to be pet and handled, but they are not in your face pushy.

I have a broody white Silkie, acting as a surrogate mother to 3 Silkie eggs & 2 Polish. Hatch date set for New Years!

ihear the silkies like to go broody. Do you have problems with it?

I am trying to, haha. Most were clear, so in reality I haven't had many actually die, only 5. So overall it's more like 32 out of 37. Since the clears never would've hatched.

Another pair of pigeons are nesting so I gave them the egg, they are experienced foster parents so I think they will take good care of it.
