Bummer on the dropped egg almost did the same tonight. Crud they are slippery

I think that was only my 2nd dropped developing, so not too bad... just suckz cuz it was the most spot on looking one...

Besides, that still wasn't as bad as yesterday... lost an entire bantam coop and our Sulmtaler coop was blown over... :/

I have 3 Serama eggs from my birds and 10 local Silkie eggs! I am hoping hoping for paint, lavender and porcelain silkies.

I set some more Serama eggs this last week too.

I also have some silkie eggs in. I am also hoping for a paint..SG! Or a paint silkie again. I just gave one that hatched a while ago back to the person I got the eggs from, not quite what I'm looking for in a silkie. I did keep one of those cute white SG's though! Now, these eggs are from a different friend. Not sure what I will get, but she says there are a lot of paints being hatched along with blues.

It's always the best egg. Did you lose birds as well. That's awful the weather back mid west and east has been hard to watch.

I wish I had friends with Silkies! I hope we both get some cute paint chicks! I don't imagine I could get a paint showgirl from this hatch, but maybe this Spring when my girls start laying.

So just curious since im seeing alot of people with hatched chickens. Did u set them early for the new years day hatch or are they hatching early? I set my chicken eggs on december 11th. So they should be hatched on new years isnt that what we were supposed to do? Just confused. So today is day 19 for mine

Days early. Seramas also tend to hatch on day 19
