Ok, you told me to come back with Babs in another week or so....so here we are again!!! Is my BO a boy or girl???

This is my 6 week BO Calyx. She is a great gal and I love her, she has a yellow comb and no wattles. Hope this helps!

Ok...so thats 2 for girl and 2 for boy...back to where I started! LOL! Anyone else?? Babs has been red around the comb and waddle for weeks! Thanks for the pic...makes me worry she really is a he!

I'm responding to give your post a bump, hoping that someone who has BO roos will see it and respond. I went back to my BO hen's 6 and 8 week pictures to compare. The comb on your chick is about the same size as my girl's was back then, but I couldn't see any pink. And your chick definitely has pink. I would have thought a cockerel would have a pretty sizable by 7 weeks.

My d'uccle cockerel is only 5 weeks, and his comb is FAR larger/more prominant than your bigger chick. Hope someone can help...

Thank you for the bump! I have already had to get rid of 2 others, last week, who ended up being roos. 1 RIR and 1 white rock. All three of them started getting pink early but Babs seems to have developed slower than the others who were more obvious in a short amount of time! But Babs is still pretty pink/red and has been for weeks...Maybe just a slower developing roo???
