8 1/2 month old faverolles still not laying

Hi there. Is it normal for 8 1/2 month old faverolles to not be laying yet? I have two from a straight run of a total of 7. The other four hens (not faverolles) Started laying at about six months but these two or not yet. Is that normal? By the way, the seventh is a rooster . Thank you!

No but if the days are getting shorter where you are or you have made any adjustments to their coop/run/flock arrangements that might be delaying their start.

The heavier the bird, the longer it takes for them to lay.
With young birds in their first year when they gotta lay an egg they will. I get winter eggs in their first year.

I have black copper Marans that are 30 weeks and only 1 out of 5 has started laying and she started over a month ago. Days are getting much short here in Indiana though.
