I think it's a boy. The red over wings is generally a sign of cockerel, in many breeds that aren't red all over.

Agreed. Plus in the most recent pictures it looks like the tail feathers are starting to curve and the hackle feathers are getting pointy.

Thank you. Pointy sickles, curved tail ... I understand. Not sure what is meant by "red over wing "
