she's beautiful! my favorite are these and the dark brahmas - the are so engaging and talkative - our girl is 7 months and has the thickest legs you've ever seen and she had a red comb early so we were afraid she was a he - glad we made no rash decisions because we had people arguing she was a male the week she laid her first egg - and let me tell you her "announcement" call was deafening! Enjoy ;-)

Oh yes - you gotta little hen; a pullet till she starts to lay eggs. And she looks like a little diva already, the way she is posing for the camera! LOL!

Is this one also a pullet? I know it doesn't have the big red comb or waddles, but it has quite long tail feathers (much longer than all my other chicks!) that it usually carries upright and before when I picked it up it made a deep throaty kind of croak... it's also the biggest chick!
On this pic the tail feathers aren't standing as straight up as they usually are, but you can still see they're pretty long
