8 Week Old Blue Cochin - Pullet or Cockerel?

What kind of marans do you think is is?

I ask because the place I got him from doesn’t have just blue marans, they have blue copper, blue birchen & blue cuckoo. They do say they have blue splash marans ( I completely missed this one ) but not that they’re sold as BBS. Though, the black & blue marans would have to go somewhere? Hmmmm Then again, none of their bin chicks were supposed to be cockerels.

Ahh, I have too many blue breeds. I have a blue copper marans pullet and a blue cochin pullet. I’ll try to get pictures of them.

Well, it sounds like you could easily get a plain blue out of any of those. He’s probably one of the BBS

Yeah, I’m just confused that they list everything else as BBS but when it comes to the splash marans, they don’t mention the possibility of getting black or blue.
