I mean, I kind of understand part of the confusion because Meyer’s has a lot of designer mix breeds like Lakeshore Eggers, Green Queens, Steele Eggers, and Olive Eggers and they all lay green eggs but the shades vary.

I don’t know why the have so many different types of mix breeds when — in my opinion — they kind of overlap each other.

This is what I don't understand either. I guess it's sort of a marketing ploy. To budding chickeners. They see all the fancy names and think "Oh - I want some of all of them!".

Don’t get me wrong, I bought one of their lakeshore eggers in my most recent bunch of chicks just for the chance to get one with a half crest without having to pay the price for a cream legbar, lol. But, yeah, they’re all just Olive Eggers with different names too me. Another thing that makes me mad at Meyer’s is they’ll include these mixes in their rare assortment special.
