8 week old chick has bloody poop

How are your chicks doing? Hopefully they are recovering nicely! :)
They are all alive! I continued with the corid for the full 7 days, and have given vitamins in their water every morning for the past 3 days. Unfortunately, I found some pink in their poop today when I moved them outside for some time in the grass pen. I’ll be purchasing sulfa drugs today. 😞 I was really hoping they wouldn’t need any more dosing, but was planning to get the sulfa anyway for future help.

Once they’re fully recovered, can I use apple cider vinegar or something else prophylactically?

I'm glad to hear that they are doing okay!! Would you be able to get some pictures of the pink in the poop? It could possibly just be their intestinal lining shedding, and not actual blood like before!
Yes, it's ok to use acv if you'd like!

That could definitely be it now that you mention it! I’ve seen intestinal shedding before and it looked more like that. I’ll try to find and get a picture of it.

Here’s some of the little’s poop.
Aaaand, my grown hens have worms now 🤦🏽‍♀️ I have some meds for that. I’ll start putting it on bread and treating them. Should I treat the babies as well?

Oh yea that’s just intestinal shedding, gross but normal lol.
I’d say yes to worming the chicks as well since they were on the same soil with the hens and have more than likely ingested roundworm eggs too.

I dosed the adults with Valbazen. I checked and double-checked the dosage, but I got it wrong. I don’t even want to type what I gave them.

The dosage was .08 ml per pound. I gave them 1.5ml each thinking the dosage was .8ml.

Will they all die? Oh I feel so awful! I’ve given them this med before and did it right. I’ve been so frazzled lately. 😭
