8 week old copper marans

I have 4 copper maran chicks. My last set of marans was pretty easy to determine cockerel/pullet at 8 weeks but I’m not so sure about these guys…
What do you think?
Here’s my guess
1.cockerel
2. Pullet
3. Cockerel
4. Pullet or cockerel

2 seems like the only pullet for now, although there is some hope for 4

agree and agree. marans make the best looking roosters in my opinion....if only the world needed more roosters....

My 12 week rooster is not showing much color right now. He came from a breeder who breeds to the standards so I want to keep him, these guys came from Meyer hatchery and they probably just mass produce…

I think number 4 is going to be a rooster look at the red in his beak

I thought meyer sexes them, no? I had unsexed Marans this past spring...thought 2 would due to the trick given I just wanted 1 for my flock but the odds were not in my favor... ended up getting 4 more...and 3 were roos....so I was batted 1 for 6... definitely not hall of fame bound...

Sooo pretty!! I bought hatching eggs! Live birds are so expensive there! I’m pretty addicted to hatching too haha.
