8 week old hen lying down all the time

I'm new to chickens, and have 8 week old hens that I am thoroughly enjoying, but my golden sex-link lies down much of the time. I've checked her vent for cleanliness, and that doesn't appear to be an issue. She seems to be growing at the same rate as the others and looks healthy to my untrained eye. She's eating and drinking as well, though she'll sometimes lie down to eat. She gets up and wanders around from time to time, though she walks only 3-5 feet before lying down again. Her personality seems to be very calm and even-tempered. Could this just be her personality or what else should I be looking for?

I actually have 8 chicks that are 8 weeks old.

They look normal to me, just like the other chicks', and she doesn't appear to walk funny at all.

Maybe she just likes to "rest" more then your others?
If she seems healthy, is able to move around, eating and drinking well I wouldn't worry too much.

Thank you. I've been worried, but my husband is convinced she's just a lazy daisy. I'd hate to lose her.....she's a sweetheart!

Hi Jared and welcome to BYC. I'd suggest giving them all some multivitamins / electrolytes in their drinking water - it will certainly do no harm and may help perk your little one up a bit.
