Im not really sure... maybe our mother hen was a bit deficient when she laid the eggs.. she has laid an shell less egg before, but we gave her crushed shell and everything was fine. I really think my hen might have been a bit deficient when she laid the eggs, but is not as affected by it like the other chicks..I'm curious, this is the third chicken in one flock to be vitamin B deficit. Could it be something with their supplemental feed causing it? Maybe look online or at the store where you buy the food to see what's in it. It just seems odd to me, unless that breed is prone to deficiency...
Since i started this medicine, i made sure the others also get the vitamins in, and there have been no other signs since then
