Okay thanks, I'll keep you updated !I'm glad she is improving.
I would give her the grower feed that you have and add a little more protein - egg, fish or meat.

This sounds promising Janke!Hi guys! The chick did super well again todayshe poops like crazy ! She usud to make these big poops that were like broody poops, but now she makes healthy, small poops many times a day ! It feels weird to say this, but i don't mind cleaning up after her when she makes these little poops !
And you guys won't believe it.. today she kind of moved around and took a dust bath!!she was pecking around at the ground like a normal chicken, and flapped her wings to dust bath, only problem is that she couldn't kick the sand onto herself..
but it's the thought that counts.
When i held her today with her legs hanging, ger one foot's toes were not curled at all, and she moved them a little !!!
I hope this chick continues to improve and can at least walk someday ! It would be the best news ever !! Fingers crossed !![]()
I'm glad to hear she is walking!Hi guys. The chick is doing well. She has started walking! Her toes are unfortunately still curled. But im still amazed that she is walking around. So here has been a major improvement in the chick.. do you guys think that her toes will start uncurling in two weeks time?
I tried taping down her toes, but it does not work
Yes i will try that ! Last time i tried using cardboard with the riffles in it and placed each toe inside a gap. I think taped it. It worked well as a shoe. But at that time she could not walk at all and thus just fell down, so i guess i should try it again sometime. Ill check out the links.I'm glad to hear she is walking!
I don't know if the toes will uncurl further or not.
Have you tried placing something under the foot like Styrofoam, Popsicle sticks, etc to stiffen it before taping? Just a thought. Links below is a splinting manual that you might find some ideas, another is bird booties - some have used those with success as well - you may be able to make something similar
