8 week old Mallards Sex Please

I was not sure which picture you are looking at. There are three different pictures Miss Lydia put on here for me. Is the picture of just the Mallards with the Swedish duck in it too or the picture with the Khaki Campbell duck in it. I sure wish I knew if I had a hen or not out of the three. They are so much bigger than my Mallard Hens but their Drake Dad is half Mallard and half Rouen so they might take after him which will be surprising as none of my other ducklings that hatched out ever did. Thanks for any input you might have.

I have decided that if I could create a device that you just wave a wand over any birds head and it will tell the sex at any age I could retire from being a school bus driver and I would be a millionaire!!! LOL

Now that I look at that picture the one on the left does have the more boyish look to it. I would be very happy for just one to be a Hen and the Swedish too. I really want to keep it as it is so pretty. Thanks for your opinion, I appreciate it. I will have to post on here what they are when I finally figure it out.

Yes please do!! when I had mallards, right from the start the duckling drake had extra big feet… and what I call drakey behavior.

When I look at them to me their feet all look about the same but one does stay really close by the hens and one actually chased one of the hens the other day. I thought that looked pretty drakey, lol. Thanks again for your opinion, I was hoping someone on here would have had them before. Do you remember how long it took before they got their adult colors??? I am waiting for the green head and white ring and it's been so long since mine were little that I have kept that I can't remember how long it took. It said online Months!!! I hope not that long for sure.

that's Parsley (mallard drake) at 5-6 weeks old and I had already decided to rehome him based on his 'drakey behavior' see his big feet lol the other mallard in 2nd pic is Oregano and she was much smaller and darker, a dark mallard hen. I rehomed them as a pair. when they were 7 weeks old I could already see the green sheen on his little head by then. I kept in touch with the person who bought him from me and yes absolute 100% drake . i think sometimes we just can tell by intuition and hints

Thank you so very much. I think all three of mine resemble Parsley somewhat with their dark chests. It's hard to see Oregano and these three are a lot bigger than my Hens. That's why I was leaning towards drakes for all three. I did see the difference in the shape of their heads when I checked my phone and blew the pictures up more though. Hopefully one of mine are a Hen. I loved the pictures of yours, Mallards are sooooo pretty I think.

It looked like Oregano and Parsley had the same color of bills in the picture. I was going by bill color that mine were all drakes too. Maybe that is not so. At this age I can see small changes in them every once in a while so the bills may change in the future. Is Oregano the one sitting down???? in the second picture??? I thought it might be but wasn't sure. Thanks again for your input, I really appreciated it.
