8 week old photo shoot! Gender guesses please :)

I have two 8 week old chicks. A silkie and BLRW. The BLRW came as “female” but I no that’s not a 100% guarantee. My rooster is also already trying to mate with them and doing his little wing dance so I’m hoping that’s a good sign they’re both female. I know it could still be early to tell, especially with the silkie, but if you guys see anything overtly female or male let me know, thanks!

They do look femalish, silkies are exceptionally hard to tell until they start crowing or laying. The BLRW may be a roo though. It has sickle shaped feathers where females usually have rounded on their tail and saddle. And the comb is a little red, but since it is older it may be just a pullet that has a redder comb.

They both look female to me too, but it is too early to sex the silkie, they are androgynous at that age.

Honestly, I struggled to tell. The silkie looks like a pullet from what I can tell. The BLWR looks like a pullet as well to me. Here is a picture of my friend’s 6 week old Millie Fluer D’uccle cockerel. This comb is much bigger and much redder.
