8 week old pullets introduced to 2 4 month old roos. Roos attacking one pullet

Who’s nicer? overall
The one that was watching over them while they were out free ranging yesterday. He will get them good from time to time but most of the time he will leave them alone. The other one will get them more often and just doesn’t really care for them to be around. He also will try and bow up to us from time to time when the other one hasn’t. He just started all that about a week ago so we knew he went into puberty.

Yeah...go with the first, lol.

Why would you suggest just keeping one? We have hawks and wild cats around here and it concerns me that just one wouldn’t be enough to protect them.
Fair point......hm.
I suggest it because of the ganging up, fighting between them, and overmating. But it’s up to you.

Even two would not be able to protect from from Wild cats and hawks. Hawks catch their prey with talons typically killing on impact and a rooster will not be able to stop a aerial attack like that. A wild cat, well there's not even a chance that a rooster will be able to offer one iota of protection.
