Not necessarily. Size and color of combs and wattles are indicators of sex when the birds are young, but they aren't everything. The presence of wattles does mean that your Silkies are probably the non-bearded type.

agree with Jed. Non-bearded silkies will show wattle growth, bearded silkies will not.

Silkies are very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age, and sometimes not till they lay or crow.

Pictures would be interesting but, it's best to just enjoy them till they are old enough to make concrete decisions on their gender.

Please post pics of their combs if you like. We can tell you if they are obvious cockerels. But they are a little youth beside on the girls. Sometimes they end up being boys later.
12 weeks is a good age to post.
