My wife and I have been debating the sex of two of our 8 week old chickens. The first is an easter egger cross and the second is a golden laced polish (not too laced at this point). I would love your thoughts....

Full body shot. Comb turned red very early on. Most of the others have not turned yet.

Tail feathers, pointed at end.

Photo from above.

She is bigger than the other two easter eggers of the same age by a good bit.

Now the polish which seem hard because the comb is not so easy...

Notice the pointed tail feathers they are also longer than our other polish.

Our other Polish has very rounded tail feathers which leads me to believe the one in question is a rooster.

Pictures not showing up only red x.
I'd be happy to help on the gender debate.

That's an EE roo and a Polish pullet!

ETA: That's not a gold laced Polish though, they have a lot of black in them. I think yours is a buff laced.

EE is most likely a roo. My 16 week old pullets combs have just now turned that red, when they were 8 weeks old, the combs were still pale. Also, mine don't have the pointy tail feathers. Don't give all your hopes up though, EE's are tricky to determine
