Well, don't get your expectations too high. They're just pullets so they won't be monstrous or anything.

But it'll be good to get aquainted with the place and see if you want to use it in the future. It works for me.

after ya'll left, i ended up getting 5 quail and cooked two of them last night. i brought one for lunch today. we'll see how good a cook i am. LOL

hey! you ended up taking all the livers and giblets!! LOL

thank you again for letting me come and see. the place was really clean and very streamlined. even though it's a 30 minute drive, i think i'll be taking mine when it's processing time, over there to get processed.

i got your pekins yesterday from my friend. i got you 7 at $5 per duck. i hope that's okay. they're a nice size just like the last one's i'd gotten. probably about 4-5 months old. turned out they're mostly boys. i think there may be one girl in there. see you sunday!

oh, and how did that chicken taste you put on the rottiserie?? yum yum.

we also got to meet another byc'er there who came to get her birds processed. what a small world.

I'll have the gizzards, livers, and hearts with me Sunday. We'll pull some out for you!

I hope you and Buster quail were good. I know the chicken we put on yesterday was! We had it on within a few minutes of getting home. VERY GOOD!

I've got a couple of cages for the ducks, so I'll be ready! Thanks so much.
