8 wk Barred Rock: pullet or cockerel?

I have 2 BR girls in my flock. Both have looked the same up to the last week. We kicked the girls out to the coop about a week ago and they are really starting to fill out. I noticed this one looking a little different. Way more in my face when I come visit and just noticed the pinking up of comb and tiny wattles. I’m still thinking pullet but I’m curious what you all think!

I agree. Pullet by her carriage and feathering. Barred boys tend to be much lighter, and mine had much bigger combs at that age.

Pullet. Barred rocks are easy to tell the difference when they feather in. Males are lighter, females darker.

THANK YOU. Everything I know tells me pullet. LOL. But I just always second guess myself and just need reassurance. Phew. Thank to you three! (My mistake on saying both earlier)

The first one is blurry but her wattles I feel like are bigger! And then her legs. All seems to point to pullet still.

100 percent pullet.

Black underlying feathers and grey.

Definitely pullet. Barred Rocks (and Dominiques, too!) have gender differences in color. The males are always lighter than the females. It's pretty handy to help sort them!
