8 x 16 Pallet chicken run.

I love this idea!
That's awesome. Any more pics/details of the build would be much appreciated!
I'd be happy to but I don't really have but a couple of photo's. I started out by connecting 2 pallets to the end on my coop .The run is 8 x 16 or 2 pallets wide and 4 pallets long.I connected them together using short pieces of scrap 2 x 4's .I attached them on the inside of the pallets (see photo) After I was done I had (2) 8 ft sections and (2)16 ft sections. Then I attached a 2 x 6's face down to the top of each of the 4 sections to make the pallets line up straight and make them stronger. I used multiple shorter pieces to make them long enough.I also tested the white wash on a couple of the pallets to see how many coats it would need before I started.

This is a photo of what the run actually looked like after I white washed it and before I added the hardware cloth to the bottom(the top was done here) Unfortunately during the night a thunderstorm came and it really was a down pour.It washed most of the white wash off that I had painted that day (it takes about 3 days for the final color to set)

This section of the run is closest to the highway and traffic and is directly beside my green house .I attached hardware cloth to the upper portion of the run outside as you can see in the photo. The lattice is attached on the inside and makes a shadow box . After I took this photo I added 1/2" hardware cloth on the pallets below and the only thing left to do on this end is the apron.

These are doors that swing open allowing me access to the right side of the green house for maintenance such as repairing or replacing the green house plastic or tarps. Here you can see the beginning of a "wall" being built on top of the pallets to make it taller as well.

Pallets can sometimes take more time and effort but the price can’t be beaten!
My yard looks like THIS when I'm building with whole pallets and construction waste not to mention the waste I have afterwards. This is the end where I added the lattice.

This is the opposite end of the run to show you what it looked like before I built the wall or framed up the top.Maybe I can get some inside pics uploaded ...Everything is finished on this end wall except for adding an apron on the outside.I ran out of hardware cloth and covered all the gaps with pallet boards so its safe enough to let my chickens in there supervised while I continue working on it.
