8 x 16 Pallet chicken run.

For those of us who just want a small flock of hens building a coop out of pallets is practical. It means not having to dip in savings or spending money we don't have to spend!
Even if you've never built anything before you could build a basic coop and run for $300-500 using pallets and repurposed items .I like to landscape with raised beds around my runs.

I love what you’ve done! It’s a chicken paradise! We used pallets for our coop also. All the painted area is pallet wood. The cedar trim was just leftover we used as well. We used a planer and that helped smooth them out. We need more pallets!! We did our garden beds as well from them. Love the possibilities!!! Thanks for sharing what you've done with us!! 🤩

Its beautiful! You did a wonderful job! I love the garden beds!

I called and spoke to a sales clerk at Lowes about the hardware cloth I heard was on clearance and she was kind enough to take what I needed to the customer service desk and my daughter picked it up ! I covered the top of the 8 x 16 run I made for only $47 !!! I used (8) 24" x 10' rolls of 1/2" hardware cloth.
