Don't cha just love summer time? They are saying about 98 this afternoon and I have a load of feed scheduled at the mill today. Soooooooooooo who wants to come help me this afternoon unload a ton of feed in 50 pound -ish sacks and stack it in the feed barn.

Hellooooooooo, hellooooooooo How come you guys aren't lining up to help????

A hot and sweaty Steve in NC

I can feel ya Steve...when I got home from work yesterday, it was 101 degrees and when I left for work this morning at 4:30am, it was 74 degrees....STAY HYDRATED - heat exhaustion is a horrible thing.......

*snifff* Oh you so have my sympathy.

You wanna come help me finish welding my coop, say, at 3 pm?

I tease, but it is 7am here an 90 degrees. I can't complain since I choose to live here.

Stay hydrated and rest when you need to!

Oh you poor guy! Our weather hasn't been as hot as it normally is. However it is supposed to be 90 today for the first time this summer! I have inside chores today so I better turn the AC on now! Be careful in the heat today and remember the gator-aide.

It's not the heat. It's the darn humidity!!! You can almost swim outside it's so thick. Even at 7am it was bad. Whew! I am ready for fall. I can take the high temps. I'm just tired of all the water in the air.

me! me! me!

i'll help - we have the tropical heat too and yes i was out there yesterday. as soon as a get a batch of 'maters goin' here on the stove i'm heading out again to work.

we were at 70*+ ish this morning. superfun.

we need to go and get about 10 tons of horse poop from this ol' boy's stable. so we'll be hot, sweaty, AND stinky.

good times

;-)

it could be worse tho - you could be in a cubicle with your meeting reminder flashing and telling you to report to the conference room where you get to argue about which of your over arching goals should take priority, and who needs to take a deep dive into the tertiary objectives so you can make a decision making matrix to show which should be parked for now until another committee can oversee the implementation of each action item.

auuahghghghhgghhg hhhh corporate speak! i still have it! quick get me to the feed mill so i can 'h'aint that right' and 'sure 'nough' with the locals!!!

;-)

any day shoveling poop on the farm is better than getting pooped on in the corporate world

:-)
