*80% Hatching Rate!!!!* Setting 3/14/2010, PI Day!

Soo everything has been going well!!! It's been a week and two day since i set! Temp has been between 100-99, I havn't candled yet, and idk if i will.

So i candled today!

1 egg looks as if no development
2 eggs we couldn't See
1 Egg only had "veins"
1 Egg had a air bubble and blood vessels
The rest had air bubbles and had a "form" in them! Im so excited to see what comes out!

Okay, candled my shipped eggs yesterday and a little more than half are looking good. My own eggs from my EE's and Dark Cornish are looking awesome. Only one was clear out of those. *fingers crossed*

Sick! I couldn't see my Tinted EE eggs, so we'll see what comes out! when are you starting lockdown?

I can't see details in my EE or Marans eggs, but I can tell if there is a form in there or not. I'm going to lockdown Thursday evening, but keep the humidity at 35-40% until Friday morning when I'll raise it up to 60-65%. I expect my first pips to start on Saturday. I have excellent hatch rates with my home eggs. Shipped eggs make me nervous. LOL
