80-Year-Old Chicago Man Kills Armed Home Invader

hoorah !My neighborhood is 7 miles from town and target practice is mandatory. We dont get to shoot at home invadors but if it happened I'm sure it would be as natural as culling roosters.I will cling to my money, guns and my God ! You can keep the change!

I highly doubt the city will press charges, the last thing they want is a case going to the SCOTUS to toss their laws. I doubt the couple get their gun back though. Hopefully the court does not turn upside down in the next few years or we will all lose our rights, including free speech.

Here we have an excellent example of guns PREVENTING crime... and Chicago's phsychotic mayor suggests shoving a rifle up his critics' butts and pulling the trigger, as well as hoping Supreme Court Justices are victimized by gun violence so that they will agree with him. That man is absolutely insane. I would like to know why he keeps getting elected.

MAYORALTY AND MADNESS
It is abundantly clear to anyone who looks at the evidence that Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is truly, genuinely obsessed with banning firearms. He has expressed frustration of late with the prevailing prediction from all sides that the soon-to-come US Supreme Court decision in McDonald v. Chicago will reverse his beloved handgun ban, and has promised to find a way around such a decision. (Interesting…an elected leader who promises to find a way to contravene what will be established as law by the highest court in the land.)

In a recent press conference, Mayor Daley – never noted for being either articulate or self-controlled – picked up a gun that was on display as a prop and babbled about shoving it up the rectum of a reporter who asked him an innocent question. Read about it HERE*, in the words of that reporter himself.

My favorite newsman in Chicago, a city long famed for great newsmen, is John Kass. Kass is honest, logical, and street-smart. You can read his take on it HERE**.

It is said that the mad Roman emperor Nero played his fiddle as Rome burned. As the city of Chicago finds itself in a tightening grip of criminal violence, Mayor Daley literally raves and threatens those who remind him that violent crime has INCREASED since his beloved handgun ban. He has even more-than-tacitly expressed the wish that one or more of the Justices become a victim of gun crime, so they can be persuaded to come over to his side of the issue. Not normal, well-adjusted thinking.

Wasn’t it Albert Einstein who said that continuing to do something proven not to work is the very definition of insanity? It would seem that the Mayor of Chicago fits more definitions of insanity than that…

As usual, my links are screwy. You'll have to paste them into the address bar, but it's well worth it to see Mayor Daley's phsychosis up close and personal.

Yeah, I started a topic talking about the Inherent Risk of Criminal Activities... this is a PERFECT example.

Wouldn't be the least surprised if his Mama sued them for all HER suffering...

I see nothing morbid and have no problem with the old guy defending himself and his home. Someone invades my home they are getting shot too. The way I see it, my home is the one place I have the right to be without interference, harrassment or threat....if I do not invite you in...stay out.

We have a law here in Montana that protects the home owner.

Home owner was home told the guy to leave, guy advanced at the owner and the HO shot and killed him. No charges, simple case of self defense.
Since then it is rather rare to have a home invasion around here.
