85 Chickens and 4 ducks...

Hello,
Hubby and I now have 89 birds (no thanks to him, lol). I can not wait until spring and I can get more birds!! I will be buying bantams of all different kinds, BLRW, call ducks, other ducks, Polish, guineas, and much much more...Hubby says in March we can start buying again, and I can not wait!!

Well a dog got one of our black Australorp roos on sunday, poor guy..

Hi and welcome! I was reading through your list..amd was wondering...WOW, what are they going to do with all those Roosters!?? Seems like you have several. Are they going into the stew pot? Do your chickens all run together or seperated?

Mostly separate, and no we took the roos just last week for someone who did not have room for the amount of chickens they had. All of the bantams and a few standard roos we took, next year we are going to get hens to be with them and figure out which types we are keeping for sure, but for now they are just like my babies....lol
