I was just thinking about setting some more eggs and then I did the math and realized they would be hatching around New Years. I can't believe it is here again, the older I get the faster the years go by!

I will be setting a pile of Silkie eggs tomorrow! I am glad to have an official excuse!

Do you ever sell SG eggs? Or, do they come along with the silkie eggs? Hoping to get SG?

Love silkies..I have some in right now due on the 19th. Here are some that I've hatched in the past.

I have SG eggs mixed with my Silkie eggs. I just hatched 2 black SG, the hatch before that I hatched 4 lavender and 2 black SG. I do sell and ship eggs.

Almost all of mine are bow ties, I do get the occasional clean neck though.

Congrats to everyone who set eggs today!!! I'm glad my first hatch is gonna be with all of you...SOLIDARITY!!!

What humidity does everyone keep their bators at? I've seen conflicting advice on this. Is 25-35% ok, or should it be more? I have a forced air bator, just fyi. I just want to give them their best chance. This is so much fun!!
