Well, it's pouring rain here in Northern Cali - Outdoor chickens insist on being outside and look like drowned rats, indoor chicks (still indoors) hatched in Nov have wing feathers and are entering the dinosaur phase, and eggs are snuggled nicely in their warm, slightly humid incubator! The semester is over for me (gave my last final Tues) so, it must be a good day for a book and a cup of hot coffee!

Rain is just getting to Woodland. It is going to be very wet today!

We had flooding here in town (Crescent City, CA) last night (minor--only a couple of intersection closings, though some houses in lower spots may have gotten water).

We are getting a lot of rain now. A new front will be here soon and it is yellow and orange on the radar. The creeks and drains are very full now.

Stay safe!

You, too! We're not supposed to get rain again until Tuesday, and Sunday's the last day we have a set time to be anywhere for the rest of the year (my husband and I both work in schools)!

The rain stops for us tonight--then we get lows below freezing for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It may be cold enough to hurt the Oranges.

Not particularly!

You actually have "real" winter! It's 50 degrees here, so I'm not terribly worried about the wet birds. They do look really bedraggled though!

I wouldn't want to trade either lol. Mine are all in their run, peeking through the plastic that I have covering it lol. They want out but they can't stand that cold white stuff all over the ground!
