Last night I dreamt that, not only did all 11 eggs hatch, ut I hatched a dozen kittens that were all about 2-3 weeks old... Not this house, though it was our laundry room

Sometimes we do that..have funny dreams after thinking...chicks, hatching..sooon!

Awww! I love baby goats. You can post ...ANYTHING! I just brought up a couple of ideas as to what to post. I like baby animals..cute animals. So, if you have any more of this little one..post them. We all love goats.

Love it..I just may have done this! Oh my goodness...in the summer, we go past this home, that has bantams only. I always have my head turned and ready to take a look when we go by. They have the prettiest roosters, on the side of the road, picking up gravel would be my guess.

FORTEEN chicks so far!!!!!

Eight of them are Captain Jack Sparrow's chicks ! They are lemon-yellow and a few have a black spot here or there.


Five of the chick are Garfunkel's. So far four golden-yellow and one red based chipmunk babies.


And this guy (Ringo) snuck one in there when a blue colored Ameraucana/Marans mix dashed into his pen. LOL
His baby is the color of a peeled banana. Sort of yellow, sort of white.

Congratulations! I love the leghorn mixes. They almost always have those black spots. Always different on the chicks as they grow out. Let me see if I can find a photo of one of mine..in a nest box with a Wheaton Ameraucana.



She laid a pretty blue egg..dad being the EE, mom the leghorn.

Oh no! This is bad. Hatching for all the holidays is enough but now for every month! Because you know I won't be able to control myself.

I'm trying to figure out how I can hatch in January and still have enough time to hatch again for Valentines Day. I better go check out the January Hatchalong thread.

Hi raven!    I was thinking of you last night, hadn't seen you in a while.   Good luck on those duck eggs.  What if only 1 hatches?  Ey?  

Sorry, ended up with my hands full this last week helping a dear lady with her shipped Mallard hatch and shipped Calls due in a few days... turns out she is a neighbor of mine too! You can see her inspirational and heartbreakkng journey here...

If only 1 duck hatches then it'll grow up with chicken hatchmates, but most of the duck eggs look good...

Yes, I went ahead and set some eggs this morning for a January hatch. They should be done and the incubator cleaned in time to do the Valentines Day hatch

I had a dram before work that my eggs had pipped lol but of course they're not even rocking yet lol and the puppy is a chihuahua I just realized that he really does look like a husky!
